Our farm

The idea of farming as an adjuct to the orphanage has long been a dream of Teacher.He had long been to farm younger so it was not difficult for him to envision making such a project work.However more immediate needs controlled the first month's of the orphanage existance as he moved fro crisis to crisis .Then in the summer he met Claudia Turner who was struck by Teachers vision and who found the money to start a ten acre pilot pilot program for maize and tomatoes .
The first crop was very succesful especially with the tomato harvest.Today we harvest maize, rice and bananas on 40 acres of land farm.We also rise cattle an important source of food and income of Tanzania.
